The project utilizes Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) tower technology, making it one of the most efficient solar plants in the world. As part of South Africa’s renewable IPP program, Redstone CSP Project aims to contribute to the country’s sustainable energy future.

Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Solar Engineer to oversee the design, construction, and operation of the solar power plant. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CSP tower technology and extensive experience in solar project management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in solar energy industry
  • Proficiency in design software such as PVsyst and HelioScope
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment

Job Description: We are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe working environment at the project site. The successful candidate will develop and implement safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in environmental health and safety management, preferably in the energy sector
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as OSHA and ISO 14001
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Job Description: We are hiring an Operations & Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on the solar power plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with solar thermal systems and be familiar with troubleshooting techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance of solar power plants or similar industrial facilities
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
